These perspectives are provided by a consumer, a parnt, and a range of clinicians who have tried to navigate quality care for their clients. Part 2 identifies the challenges of co-occuring disorders, in general, in justice settings, and in mental health and drug specialist services. The contributors provide suggestions to improve policy and system of care. Part 3 focus on the evidence about the nature of the relationship among a range of specific mental health problems and drug use, and the implications for treatment. Part 4 illustrates a range of co-occurring drug and mental health problems through a number of case studies, and the reader is guided through clinical decision-making, based on the available evidence and client need, by experienced practitioners.(From the preface)
