*520  $aOn the occasion of the First Pan-European Ministerial Conference on Illicit Drug Abuse Problems (Oslo, 9-10 May 1991), the Joint Drug Abuse Comprehensive Centre published the recent legislation effective in Italy regarding AIDS and drug abuse. The publication also contains a report on the situation of drug abuse in Italy in the year 1990, as well as a report on the reduction of the demand for narcotic and psychotropic substances in Italy. It also contains a report of the European Commission regarding reducation of demand for drugs in Europe. In addition to this report are the Resolution on the subject of drug abuse and AIDS sanctioned by the Ministry of Health of the European Communities on 3 December 1990 and the European Plan for the Fight against Drugs ratified by the Council of Europe on 13 December 1990 published. The report also contains a short presentation of the Drug Abuse Comprehensive Centre.
